This is how you make impact as a Finance manager

As Finance manager you will be responsible from A to Z on accounting and business controlling. You are responsible for all administrative tasks including bookkeeping, VAT, and tax issues, while also serving as the business controller with duties encompassing budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting. Ideally you have worked in a manufacturing environment and you know how to set up cost price calculation. With your financial knowledge and business focus, you are the gatekeeper for the local entity, with a clear connection to other entities for support on the one hand and the headquater for strategic guidelines and projects on the other hand.

You will work in Nijmegen, and you will report directly to the BU Manager.

Your daily responsibilities include:

• Manage the development, implementation, and review of business models
• Perform daily accounting entries in the ERP system
• Create financial statements, including preparation process, to facilitate business steering;
• Generate and execute improvement of management reporting and dashboard;
• Ensure a proper and close working relationship with internal and external stakeholders (Neways Finance team, auditors, etc)
• Periodic and ad hoc preparation of budget and forecasting;
• Taking care of the Planning & Control cycle with report out to the BU Manager/stakeholders;

Within this job you will be part of our finance team and work for an international high-tech organization. To do so, you should possess the following qualifications:

• HBO working and thinking level with an educational background in the direction of Business Economics, Business Administration, SPD Business Administration or similar;
• At least three to five years of relevant work experience; accounting experience
• Experience within a logistics/industrial work environment is an advantage;
• Solid experience with ERP systems (Navision or INFOR CE is an advantage);
• Very good communication and writing skills in Dutch and English;
• Proficient knowledge of and experience with MS Office Excel and Power BI;
