Global Process Technologist - Circular Technology

As Global Process Technologist at Duynie, you will be a central player in the international roll-out of our new sustainable and circular technology. Your operational experience and technological background are an important asset for our project teams to deliver successful installations at our customers. In this role you will support the design phase, support commissioning and customer training and you drive improvements. Besides that you define the operational windows, performance criteria and operating procedures for (new) processes. Furthermore you translate the lessons learnt at our customers and in our pilot plant in Nijmegen into proposals for our engineering- and project teams to improve safety, quality, performance and sustainability. In this role you will be working closely together with various internal and external stakeholders (such as Safety, Quality, Engineers, suppliers, the Duynie Pilot Plant, etc.) and you will be an important link between our R&D, Technical Projects and Supply Chain teams.

Role and responsibilities:

• Supporting start-up, troubleshooting and optimization of our process installations - including travel to our customers (up to 20% - mainly EU);
• Developing technology standards and documentation (such as process data, success criteria, performance sheets, etc.);
• Driving continuous improvement by providing improvement proposals for existing and future projects;
• Link between Duynie R&D, Technical Project team, Quality and our customers;
  
• Supporting feasibility and design studies of new installations & processes.

What we are looking for in a candidate:

• Bachelor's degree (or higher) in a process technology, preferably food;
• Minimum 3 year working experience in a food production plant or at an equipment supplier (preferably food);
• Minimum English at C1 level; Dutch or another European language preferred;
• You enjoy working on different topics and you prioritize your activities based on the needs of the team and business;
• You are a team player, but you can also work independently;
• You are a strong communicator and can connect with internal and external stakeholders at different levels in the organization;
• You feel comfortable in a dynamic organization with a high degree of freedom, but at the same time a high level of responsibility;
• You are eligible to work and live in the Netherlands.

What do we offer?

• A base salary between €3.100 and €5.200 gross per month based on a 40-hour workweek (classification based on relevant work experience);
• 30 vacation days based on a 40-hour workweek;
• A (BYO) mobile phone allowance of €15 net per month. Your subscription is paid for;
• Profit-sharing scheme;
• €16.25 gross per month contribution to health insurance;
• Commuter allowance for a minimum of 10 km one way;
• Flexible office hours and the possibility to work partially from home after the introduction period (€2.35 net allowance per remote working day);
• A good pension scheme with the PGB;
