Dat de WK-koorts weer in Nederland heerst is duidelijk. Zo ook in het muZIEum. We hebben onze donkerbeleving voor de komende weken namelijk helemaal op de WK-sfeer aangepast. Hoe het is om het WK te beleven zonder wedstrijden, goals en oranje vlaggen daadwerkelijk te zien, kun je vanaf 12 juni ervaren in het muZIEum. Daarnaast kunnen geïnteresseerden op woensdag 18 juni de uitdaging van het blindenvoetbal aangaan tijdens een workshop. De workshop blindenvoetbal is in samenwerking met stichting N.E.C. Doelbewust opgezet en vindt plaats op het voorplein van de Stadsschouwburg Nijmegen. Kom langs en ervaar het zelf!
Donkerbelevingen in WK-sfeer
Wat het publiek in onze WK-donkerbeleving precies gaat ervaren laten we nog in het midden. Feit is dat je de oranjekoorts van alle kanten en in allerlei situaties intens gaat horen, voelen, ruiken en proeven. Onze blinde en slechtziende gidsen hebben voor deze gelegenheid hun WK-kennis bijgewerkt en zullen je ook hierin weer begeleiden. De donkerbeleving in WK-sfeer loopt t/m het einde van het Nederlands elftal in de WK-competitie.
Workshop blindenvoetbal 18 juni
In samenwerking met N.E.C. Doelbewust organiseren we op 18 juni een workshop blindenvoetbal op het voorplein van de Stadsschouwburg in Nijmegen. Leerlingen van bezoekende scholen kunnen tijdens de workshopdag wedstrijdjes blindenvoetbal spelen met hun medeleerlingen. De leerlingen bezoeken die dag ook de donkerbelevingen in WK-sfeer.

Tussen de wedstrijdjes van de leerlingen door nodigen we iedereen die wil ervaren hoe je kunt voetballen zonder iets te zien, uit voor een workshop blind penalty schieten. Bij genoeg deelnemers kan er zelfs een partijtje gespeeld worden. Dit alles onder begeleiding van onze gidsen en vrijwilligers.

10.15-12.15 uur Leerlingen diverse scholen
12.15-15.00 uur Iedereen is welkom, deelname workshop buiten is gratis!
15.00-16.00 uur Leerlingen diverse scholen
16.00 uur EINDE (en iedereen op tijd naar huis voor de wedstrijd NL- Australië om 18.00 uur!
Het muZIEum wil met de workshop en de WK-donkerbeleving bezoekers laten ervaren hoe mensen met een visuele beperking sport beleven.
Over N.E.C. Doelbewust
N.E.C. Doelbewust initieert, ondersteunt en organiseert maatschappelijke projecten en activiteiten in de regio Nijmegen. Een voorbeeld hiervan in eigen huis is een pilot met een blindentribune bij N.E.C. Deze pilot is in december 2013 in samenwerking met Koninklijke Visio, het expertisecentrum voor slechtziende en blinde mensen, in het Goffertstadion van start gegaan. Supporters met een visuele beperking krijgen op de blindentribune de wedstrijdbeleving mee doordat ze via een headset rechtstreeks het wedstrijdverslag horen van de commentatoren die de wedstrijd beschrijven vanuit hun zichtpunt.
