De website binnenstadstroom.nl geeft uitleg over het energie-inkoopprogramma dat YES biedt voor Nijmeegse ondernemers. Het idee erachter is dat binnenstadondernemers collectief hun energie kunnen inkopen, wat financieel gunstig is voor deelnemende partijen. Dat kan dus de complete binnenstad zijn.
Antwoord voor ondernemers
De reden dat YES met dit concept start, is omdat het ondernemersklimaat erom vraagt. De financiële crisis, de maatschappelijke druk om duurzaam te ondernemen en de behoefte om met lokale partners te werken, vragen om nieuwe oplossingen. Met binnenstadstroom.nl wil YES een antwoord geven op al deze vraagstukken.
Het financiële vraagstuk wordt opgevangen door goedkoop collectief in te kopen; de groene energie (gas en stroom) wordt duurzaam opgewekt en betrokken van lokale leveranciers. En omdat YES een echt Nijmeegs bedrijf is aan de rand van het centrum, ligt de focus op het persoonlijk contact met ondernemers uit de binnenstad.
Samenwerken voor de binnenstad
Wij denken dat binnenstadstroom.nl sterk is door de kracht van het collectief. Dat uit zich in onze aanpak – voor en door binnenstadondernemers – maar ook in hoe YES graag werkt. We gaan samenwerken met belanghebbende partijen, zoals ondernemersverenigingen en brancheorganisaties. Lokale partijen, die het ook belangrijk vinden dat de Nijmeegse binnenstad er sterk voor staat. De eerste gesprekken hierover zijn reeds lopende.
